Universal Course Evaluation: CJN297

Course evaluations are part of Suffolk University’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Evaluation results are used in many ways: professors use evaluations to improve their teaching; deans and department chairs use evaluations to evaluate faculty; and departments and committees use evaluations to review candidates for tenure and promotion. Students should not identify themselves on evaluations; faculty should not be present while evaluations are being completed. Faculty are permitted to see the evaluation forms or results of the evaluations only after submission of final grades. The college recognizes the importance of the confidentiality and integrity of the evaluation process. If you have any concerns about the evaluation process, you should speak with the department chair, program director, or the CAS Dean’s Office.
